Natalia returns home to El Paso to join TAFT DÍAZ as its founding Sommelier. Her interest in wine transformed into a passion while living in Walla Walla, Washington. During her stint in Walla Walla, she worked at Northstar Winery, a “small batch” Merlot producer, leading tours and private tastings.
Soon after graduation, however, Natalia decided to move to Napa Valley and join Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, the iconic vineyard that won the Paris tasting of 1976, putting California on the map as a serious wine producing region. During her tenure at Stag’s Leap, she immersed herself in the wine club department, while also learning the intricacies of the wine industry.
Natalia continued her tour of great American wine producing regions moving to Sonoma Valley and joining Wine Business Monthly, one of the industry’s most reliable and trusted publications.
Natalia received her BA in Psychology and Spanish Literature from Whitman College in Walla Walla Washington. She holds a W-SET Level 2 Certificate and is a W-SET Level 3 candidate. In her spare time, Natalia enjoys discovering new trails in the Franklin Mountains with her dog Kira, and of course drinking the great wine she has handpicked for you.
